A Brand New look for my Blog

Gosh! I'm really bad at editing the html codes!
I have being looking for new skin since yesterday, found some interesting ones, tried out a few as well, but some how it just won't fit nicely.

Found this skin, but again doesn't fit perfectly, need to do some edits. I'm trying to shift down the right side bars, but it just so hard. Hai...I just have to leave it this way, coz I'm really too sleepy to continue to squeeze my brain juice.
Nights!

Recovering Part 2

Its great to see my girls are in the mid of recovering! Anyway, brought the girls to see the doctor again today coz the medicine finished yet they still have little bit of cough & running nose. Plus I got some medicine to increase their appetite.

So the doctor recommended me this, a chinese medicine which just stick onto the kid's belly button. Each day one piece.

The effect was fast, I stick on to their belly button in the morning. I heard from the teacher & nanny they are eating more than their usual potion. Then in the evening they had a early dinner coz they were quite hungry, the potion also increased & yet they can finish up a bottle of yogurt each. Wow...I was really amaze!

Anyway, I checked with the doctor any side effect on this, she said no, just maybe skin rashes at the belly area for some serious cases. Doctor only let me prescribed 6 pieces for each of them, as she say must observe, coz some times it might not work for some kids.
Lets see how things will go for these few days.

My 1st Award

I received this award from Maria quite long time ago, but really didn't have the time to blog about it. *Sorry Maria*
Anyway, its really heart warming to receive my 1st award from my reader *GIVE MARIA A HUG*
I do agree with Maria, it is important to remember that you have friends. Especially we females, very emotional 'creatures', in need of friends to share joy & sorrows!
Through out years, I met & made lots of friends, some goes & stays, but I always make a point to remember at least how they look like & the memories we had.
Me too left a lot of friends when I started working in Shanghai, my friends always made "complaint" that I took ages to reply their message in MSN *LOL*
Although we catch up with one another only 2 to 3 times a year, but they will always make themselves available when I'm back, its really sweet of them.
Anyway, through blogger, I made quite a numbers of friends as well. Even though we haven't seen one another, but by reading through their stories, makes me so close to them & bring friends so naturally. So I'll like to pass this award to:
Kristie, Michelle, MommyAngel, Serene, Jess, Nicole, Agnes, Mel, Mery, Rachel

Recovering

After 4 days of battle with the flu virus, my little ones have finally recovering & gaining back their appetite! I'm so happy about it, when the nanny told me that this morning they have finished their milk.

This is really a very good news than winning a lottery *LOL*. I mean recalling those 4 days were terrible, they hardly wanted to drink or eat anything. It was really a hell time, they always wanted to be carried around, making noise occasionally, really didn't know what they want.

Now its time to gain back the weight they have lost!

Our Hong Kong Trip

Last weekend we flew over to HK to attend one of my good friend - Samson's Wedding Dinner.

It was my 1st time attending church wedding, my gosh..its so beautiful & touching.

My 2 little girls followed as well, but we didn't plan for any trip to Disneyland as we thought they are still very young, they might not remember it, plus they might be scared by those carton characters. So we just brought them to stroll along the harbour as our hotel is just beside it.

They were pretty ok through out the flight, when we reach the hotel, it was already 3 plus in the afternoon. Both went "crazy" running around the hotel room *LOL* Jumping on to the bed, playing with the room light switches & TV remote control.

In the evening, we met up with a few friends for dinner & stroll along the harbour.

^ I met up with Henrie, one of my good Uni friend. Its still pretty chill in HK, its about 14 degrees at night, so the girls need to wear something to keep warm.

^ I met up with Zyan as well, he came specially from Malaysia to attend the wedding too, plus he was the best man as well.

^ It has been a long while since we took family photos!

The next day morning, we went to the church for the ceremony, seriously speaking I almost cry, coz it was really very touching to see 2 love birds taking their vows.

^ This was taken while waiting for the the ceremony to start.

^ Samson & his wife!

So after the ceremony, we quickly went for lunch at the restaurant in our hotel. It so hard to find a restaurant in HK that doesn't taste good, I think all the Cantonese food in HK all tasted so good, every dish are my favourite!

After Lunch, we quickly get change to casual outfit & here we go shopping! *LOL* Actually I find it real hard to shop when the twin are around. For instance, I went Sasa to buy some cosmetic products, they were busy making a mess, playing with what they can grab. So its a pity that I didn't shop for anything in HK even they are having massive sales! *SAD*

^ The girls were so happy looking at the ships sailing, & aeroplane flying in the sky. They will be very exciting & keep pointing at ships or aeroplane & tell me what they are.

^ Both are hyper active, some times I wonder where their energy comes from. *LOL*

^ They just love drinking water from the same bottle! *LOL*

In the evening, we brought the girls back for a short nap, as my friend told me usually the dinner in HK starts at 9pm!! My gosh... I thought thats worse than Singapore! As my girls usually goes off to bed before 9pm if they didn't take any evening naps.

^ This was taken in the hotel lobby while waiting for the dinner to start.

Luckily we were staying that the hotel which they are holding the dinner, so I can bring the girls back to the room any time.

By 10pm, they were pretty tired, making lots of noisy, so we have to leave the dinner early.

My husband was really very sweet, he told me to catch up with my friends, while he will take care of the kids. So after the wedding dinner, I went to a nearby pub to have a drink. It was so great to catch up with them & talk about the good old times. Henrie always tells me that she still can't believe that I'm married & now a mother of 2, time really fly real fast!

We were thinking of organising another gathering, maybe in gippsland, Bali, or any where. But it really take forever to finalise it! *LOL*

Update of the girls

Due to the weather changes too fast, the girls finally can't "tahan" it, caught cold, having running nose, coughing real bad & fever occasionally. I always hated when the girls get sick, making me so worried & tired! Last time was usually one of them, now both get sick, double the trouble & mess! So I applied leave today & brought them to see a local doctor, luckily don't need to go for any dripping (its a common practise in China, if someone is sick).

I can still remember when Angela 1st time gotten fever, the nurse poke the needle through her forehead & I'm suppose to hold on to her head. Can you imagine how heart broken I am, she was screaming like hell, I couldn't take it, cried with her. So I told myself I won't let my kids to go through that again!

Anyway, they have been drinking medicine the whole day, didn't have any appetite to eat anything, ever though they are still actively playing in the house. I just hope they will get well soon. Coz it really stress me out when they are sick especially now my workload is so heavy.

Recently I have been sleeping around 12 mid-night, even I work from 8am to 3.30pm (need to fetch the girls from School at 4pm). I think my stress level has really reach my limit, to that extend I have no patience with my customer's request at all.

My social skills has dropped, don't feel like talking much, look grumpy all the time. Gosh...I think I really need a calm myself down! I have tried to finish up all the things, but it just keep piling up, FYI, I'm in charge of 8 customer account plus I'm also assisting the finance department & also preparing ISO documents for Sales department. I really have no time for my study (ACCA) as well!

I think all I need now is a break!

Can I wish for 36 hours per day??

My Gosh! Haven't being updating for blog for a long....long...time.
Coz being very busy lately, just got back from Hong Kong, went to attend one of good friend's wedding dinner.
Anyway, will try to update some post today. So sorry for those who has sent me tags...haven't have the time to finish it. I'll complete it asap!

It has being a week - How are the twin adapting?

Sneaking a 15 minutes breakfast break to update about my 2 little girls.

Luckily for me, they are adapting quite well at the moment. I have started sending them to nursery since last Thursday, which is about 5 minutes drive from my house.

So every morning I'll drop them off at school, kiss good-bye & off I go for work.

At 1st I'm so worried that sending them to school at such an early stage will create stress to them. But when I see them feeling bored, as they have limited space to play around in the house, I thought sending them to school might be a wise choice.

I usually wake them up at about 7am in the morning, coz need to drink milk, wash butt butt, brush teeth, etc. By the time they reach school will be about 8am, teachers will let them play at the hall until 9am then bring them to the classroom for exercise & breakfast. I think the school teaches very good habit, such as washing hands after each activities, before & after meals.

If the weather is good, teachers will bring them out for activities. Otherwise, they will bring them to the hall for some ball games.

^ This is one of the activities which both loves...drawing...above is Angela

^ Above is Belinda....now both can tell me what they are drawing. For example, Belinda was telling me she is drawing Fish (the picture she drew was 1 big oval & small circle) *LOL*

^ Kids playing ball games in the hall.

^ The kids really love outdoor activities!

For lunch, they usually serve rices with minced meat, vegetables & fruits. There are individual small beds for the kids during afternoon nap, which they will sleep for about 1 hour & a half.

After they wake up, its play time again! The school will serve tea breaks at 3pm, & 4 pm is going off time.

In the class, the age range from the youngest 18months to the oldest 30months. At their age, they are still playing with their own toys, & occasionally interact with other kids.

I'm happy that they are coping very well now in school.

Updates on my 2 Sweetie

I'm trying to sneak some of my working time to update the blog *Wink*

Coz by the time I put them to sleep, I'll be busy replying e-mails & when I finish is already midnight. Sometimes I find its real hard to have a balance between work & kids, making me like a crazy woman. Anyway, is the process that I have to go through & cope with it.

The weather in Shanghai is still pretty chilled, its about 9~15degrees & it has being raining for the whole week! Gosh!

So before I went back I bought heated plate to put onto the floor. Kids can just sit on top of it playing their toys without feeling cold. Plus it does make the whole living a bit warmer.

These heated plate are really good to use during weather plus they are movable, so if I were to move house, I can bring it along. It cost be me about RMB1,700 for 4 heat plates.

As the weather is cold, I didn't bring them out very often, usually let them stay at home & play with toys or watch some educational videos.

See Little Belinda is posting in front of the camera, she loves it. Luckily enough, they didn't lose any appetite...hahha..good news for me! We try to feed them with lots of fruits & water to make sure they don't dehydrate as the room was pretty dry due to heating system.

She won't forget to pose even busy snacking.

As for little Angela, she doesn't like to pose that much, but she loves to see the photos I took.

Sometimes I will ask them who is jie jie, Angela will be happily pointing at herself & say "jie jie". When I ask who is mei mei, both will point at each other. *LOL*

Whenever I ask them to wear this red little jacket, they just knew I'll be bring them out. They will quickly grab their red shoes & wear, & wait impatiently at the door.

Ok, a little short update, I promise to update more later today.
Need to finish the pile of work 1st.

My twin are back to Shanghai

Last weekend I have finally brought the twin over again! Being busy trying to let them adapt as the weather in Shanghai is still cold.
Anyway I have so much to blog about, I'll try to update it later. Coz I don't have the camera USB with me, so can't input the photos yet.
Plus I got a tag from Nicole, very sweet of her, I'll update soon...

Stay tune.
